Join us for a ladies' afternoon out! Ella will lead participants in a raqs sharqi workshop, followed by a performance to kick off a dance party where you can put your moves to the test. Participants may also opt to get henna by Sushmita! Light refreshments will be served.

While we welcome all folks in our workshops and weekly classes, we have set aside this event as an affinity space available to hijabi women (muhajjabah)--women practicing Islam who wear a hijab to cover their head/hair as part of their faith. Taking video of any participants is prohibited without explicit consent, but everyone is welcome to film the host (Ella).
